A) 23 1/2 degrees

B) 66 1/2 degrees

C) (23 1/2 + 23 1/2) = 47 degrees

D) (23 1/2 - 23 1/2 ) = 0 degrees

Answer: B

1. This tilted position of the Earths axis is known as inclination of the Earths axis.

2. The Earth's rotation axis makes an angle of about 66.5 degrees with the plane of its orbit around the ( or plane of ecliptic) , or about 23.5 degrees from the perpendicular to the ecliptic plane.
