Formula :-

Foldage =1/2[ Number of geophones* (Geophone spacing÷shot point interval)]

Given that number of geophones =12

From the above data shot spacing is equal to twice the geophone spacing

So,geophone spacing =x

shot spacing =2x

Foldage =1/2( 12*(x/2x) )

               =1/2(6)

               =3
