1. Gravitational acceleration (gravity) is commonly expressed in units of milligals (mGal).
$1 Gal=1cm/s^2=0.01 m/s^2$
$1mGal=10^{-3}Gal=10^{-3} cm/s^2=10^{-5} m/s^2$
